Teshie Football Academy is a volunteer-based organisation formed in 2012 by a group of retired footballers and football administrators. Our mission is straightforward: identify and nurture young football talents within Teshie and its environs.
From humble beginnings, we've grown in line with the phenomenal rise of soccer in Ghana. What started as a vision has become a movement—our player membership has accelerated dramatically, and we now field 30+ male players aged 14 to 19+ from neighbouring communities and regions across the country.
We train and compete at Teshie McDan Astro Turf. This year, we won the Accra East Football Association 2024/2025 Zone 2 Division 3 League—proof that our model works. We're competing. We're winning. We're developing the next generation of Ghana's footballers.

TFA has produced quality players competing in top tier leagues across Ghana and internationally. Jonas Adjei at FC Basel is one of many success stories. Several of our current players have been invited to Ghana national youth teams—we're not just developing footballers, we're developing national representatives.

Develop Players
On & Off Field
TFA is run by a strong, well-represented, and capable management committee of volunteers who've dedicated their time and energy to developing young footballers.
We provide a positive soccer experience for youth aged 14–18 of all skill levels. Being part of TFA draws players, parents, coaches, and community together into one "family" centred around a common love for the game.
We believe soccer develops the whole person—vital to social development and personal growth. We develop successful players both on and off the field. Our investment today will pay dividends tomorrow as the youth of today become the leaders of TFA in years to come.
What Sponsorship Funds
Game & practice equipment, referee fees, training costs, kits, facilities, transportation, feeding & accommodation. Every donation goes directly to player development.
